From the founders
We noticed a problem: on our campus, there are so many missed opportunities to socialize and connect, simply due to lack of knowledge. We wanted to make a platform so that no matter who you are, you can find social events to attend, connect, and grow, because that is what college is about.
The company
Small team. One campus. On purpose.
Frapp LLC is based in Orange, California, a few blocks from the campus the app is built for. We didn’t start with fifty schools and a growth deck. We started with one campus we know street by street, because a campus events app is only useful when it actually knows the campus.
Everything in the app follows from that: sign-up is locked to Chapman .edu addresses so everyone on Frapp actually goes here, the map is tuned to the blocks students actually walk, and ticketing is priced for student orgs, not stadium tours.
How we operate
The rules we don’t break.
Privacy isn’t a setting
The crowd map is anonymous: no check-ins, no tracking, no names. Your card never touches our servers; Stripe handles every payment end to end.
Honest money
The price you see is the price you pay: fees shown up front, and one flat refund rule: cancel up to 24 hours before an event, automatically honoured.
Free for free events
Student orgs shouldn’t pay to invite people to a free event. Hosting, RSVPs, and door tools cost nothing unless you’re selling tickets.
Safety is a feature
Every account is a verified student, every report gets reviewed, and our community guidelines are enforced. Zero tolerance means zero.
The internship
Built with students, not just for them.
Our interns and ambassadors are Frapp on campus. They’re the team turning an app into a presence: repping the brand at events, bringing hosts and orgs onto the platform, and making sure the word gets out about every night worth showing up for. The app puts every event in one place; they make sure every student knows it’s there.
